Dr Polly Chace
Dr. Chace is a native of Connecticut and has been with Nutmeg Family Dentistry since 2013, having purchased the practice from her dental school classmate, Dr. Nicole Mancini. Dr. Chace attended Syracuse University, (Bachelor of Science, 1995) and University at Buffalo (Doctor of Dental Surgery, 1999). She had previously practiced in Middletown, Connecticut and, prior to that, Pasadena, Maryland. She was listed as one of the Top Dentists in Hartford Magazine in 2012, and is a member of the Metro Hartford Alliance. Dr. Chace now lives in nearby Middlefield with her husband and their two children, and a dog, Moxie. In her private time, she is an accomplished pianist.
Dr Amr Aly
Dr. Aly has been proudly serving patients in the metro Hartford area for 3 years. He had been receiving root canal and extraction referrals from the Nutmeg Family Dentistry practice for the last few years and when the opportunity presented for him to officially join the Nutmeg team to more consistently serve the patients of the Hartford community, we jumped at it! Dr. Aly attended Rutgers University (Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, 2013) and Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (Doctor of Dental Medicine, 2017). Dr. Aly is fluent in English, Arabic and Spanish.
Dr. Barbara Galbreath
Dr Barbara Galbreath joined NFD in Oct 2020 after many years of private practice in Hartford, CT. Her office was in Cityplace since 1990. Dr Galbreath graduated from the U Conn School of Dental Medicine after graduating cum laude with a BA in Biology from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. She enjoys her role of Assistant Treasurer at Grace Episcopal Church in Hartford and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Conn Valley Girl Scout Council in many different roles. Black Russian Terriers are one of her passions and breeds and shows her dogs and especially enjoys meeting people who also love the breed. Barb has lived in W Hartford, CT for many years and graduated from Conard HS.
